-onisuu Summer 2013 Entry- Mage Link Portrait

My Official entry for 's Summer 2013 contest.

Learning her Zelda AU concepts could be taken as a contest entry, I decided to go with Mage Link, his snazzy cape, and his pointed hat.

I wound up sticking with this portrait drawing after the sketch turned out pretty well. I wound up deviating from the color palette I saw from her drawings, instead going for colors inspired by a cross between Manual Artwork Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword. It wound up less "earthy" and more "bright" than my original plans, but I believed the colors wound up working very well together here.

So here we are, just as the contest reaches its final few days, and I throw in a (mostly) traditional submission.

Let's hope for the best, I guess.
